Brazil is also known for its creativity in the invention of new sports, such as beach volleyball, footvolley, frescobol and, more recently, Mesabol.
We know that this fun sport was born in the Bahia coast, being popularly called "futemesa".
With the passing of these last 5 years, the sport has undergone some adaptations as table size, height, design and weight.
But the most important of them was the change of the name to Mesabol, thus not having more conflict with the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol de Mesa (CBFM), founded in 1992 for the famous Button Soccer
Mesabol quickly gained several practitioners of different age groups and genders, being seen on many beaches along the Northeast coast.
Nowadays it has gained national and international scale being practiced by athletes of different sports.
